Tech Forum Continues on Day 2 With Morra Keynote and Informative Breakouts
Day 1 of the UAS Tech Forum is in the books, and what an event-filled day it was! Now we move on to Day 2. And if Day 2 is anything like Day 1, attendees are instore for a treat.
Thursday morning starts off with a bang with an opening keynote address from the FAA’s Director of UAS Integration, Joe Morra, who will, among other things, update attendees on some of the latest happenings impacting our nation’s UAS industry from the federal level.
Following a short intermission, the afternoon agenda begins with two breakout sessions with topics that are either currently resonating with the UAS community or will in the not-too-distant future: remote ID requirements for drones and the impact of drones on the utility industry. Attendees will then get to choose their next adventure at their own leisure, whether eating lunch out or spending time strolling the virtual trade show floor.
Later, attendees will again select between two breakout sessions that promise to inform and enlighten those in attendance – Evolution of the UAS Integration Pilot Program and Tapping into Federal UAS Research. Then, attendees will gather with their peers for one last hurrah together as they hear from various officials who will share how capitalizing on UAS is bringing job growth and recognition to their respective states.
